Free Affiliate Marketing Course

I’ve just started on a free affiliate marketing course from a young guy called Matthew Glanfield, called the Affiliate Marketing Formula.

He has a great, honest writing style. And of course, it’s free. I’ve only done the first day so far, but I like what I see, and there were three free downloads that are definitely worthwhile.

I’ve been doing Affiliate Marketing for a while, and it’s definitely my preferred income method – no talking to strangers, no hard sell.

Cool gift ideas

I was updating my online shopping site, to get rid of dead links and add new shops, and I ended up peeking at all the shops.

I have to say this page of cool gadgets tickled my fancy – a dot matrix watch, flashing t-shirt and LED belt buckle were sadly tempting. For the kids, of course.

And the margarita kit at Fun Gifts looked so easy I could be tempted away from my home-grown frozen strawberry margaritas. Almost.

Latest Buy was making me waver between the desktop clock/digitalphoto/thermometer/calendar, and the USB missile launcher and Equaliser T-shirt again. Guess I’m doomed to an electronic Tshirt at this rate.

Article Submission testing

Yeah, article submission has been a buzzphrase for a couple of years now, as a great way of generating incoming links. Around three years ago I wrote a couple of articles, that still exist today, were published in a few places, and boosted my profile.

So today I’m trying Article Submitter Pro, to see how it can boost the ranking of my Online Shopping Australia site. It used to be #1 at MSN and Yahoo for a while, although it’s down to page 3 and 4 now, as I haven’t tuned it for a while, and it’s pretty pathetic in Australian search engines, as it’s neither a .com.au nor hosted in Australia. So I’ll see how it goes in a few weeks if I tweak the code, update a few pages, and publish an article about it.

Cross fingers again.
